nothing is wrong. you need to add an effect or a transition to the clip. the Inspector is where you change the settings for applied effects. Until you add an effect, there's nothing to display there. I tried unselecting the GPU and it is still greyed out, leading Davinci to say that I need to select at least 1 GPU before closing preferences. I am on the free version.
